Pet Pals: 2-year-old black cat needs a loving home!

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — This week’s Pet Pal is a sweet and fluffy cat who needs a home and a name.

He’s a 2-year-old domestic shorthair with a soft black coat and a small white spot on his chest. He was found running as a stray and his owner never came to pick him up.

Shelter staff says this guy is extremely affectionate and is looking for someone to snuggle with. He craves human interaction and would love to be a lap cat!

County residents can adopt for just $70.

Adoption services are available between noon and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
