Pet Pals: 2-year-old Lab mix looking for forever home

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — There’s a precious pup at the New Hanover County Animal Services looking for a home and a name.

This week’s Pet Pal is a 2-year-old Lab/Boxer mix who was found in an abandoned apartment and taken to the shelter.

Shelter staff describe her as an active, sweet and obedient pet who’s looking for a family to love him and for him to love in return.

New Hanover County Animal Services will be operating on an adjusted schedule in the next few weeks to allow for routine maintenance to the building at 180 Division Drive in Wilmington.

The facility will be closed Friday, March 1… and Saturday, March 2, 9 and 16.
