Pet Pals: Meet Coco

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — There’s a four-legged friend at New Hanover County Animal Services who made it through Hurricane Florence and is now looking for a loving home.

Meet Coco. She is an 18-month-old Lab Pointer mix with a white and brown coat. Her owner evacuated because of the storm and did not take her along.

Coco is already microchipped, fixed and up to date on her shots.

To meet her, head to New Hanover County Animal Services. County residents can adopt for $70. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to Noon.
