Pets left homeless by Midwest storms coming to Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Dogs and cats displaced by flooding in the Midwest are coming to Greensboro.

Animal rescue organizations in Oklahoma have been working with the Greensboro-based Animal Rescue And Foster Program to help save the animals.

The pets are expected to arrive in Greensboro next Wednesday.

Donations of food and money are being sought to help with caring for the animals. More information is available by calling 336-574-9600.
