Pilot killed in small plane crash near Halifax airport
HALIFAX, NC (WTVD) — A single-engine plane crashed near the Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport Friday, killing the pilot.
Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed the Cessna 182Q upside down in a field.
The FAA said the pilot reported engine problems around 10 a.m. and was diverting to Halifax when the aircraft went down.
