‘Plungin’ for a Purpose’ at Wrightsville Beach helps students


WRIGHSTVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) – Get a frigid start to the new year at Wrightsville Beach!

Communities in Schools of Cape Fear is holding “Plungin’ for a Purpose”.

The Wrightsville Plunge will take place on New Years Day at Crystal Pier, behind the Oceanic at 703 S Lumina Ave.

Music, drinks and children’s activities start at noon.

The plunge will take place at 1:00 1 p.m.

Registration is now open.

The cost is $25.

The first 300 people to register will be guaranteed an event t-shirt.
