Police: 3 pedestrians injured in Concord church parking lot
CONCORD, NC (WSOC) — Emergency crews responded to a report of multiple people hit by a car in the parking lot of a Concord church Tuesday morning.
First responders were called to Center United Methodist Church on South Union Street around 11 a.m.
A female driver of a Dodge van backed up at a high rate of speed and hit a silver Honda and three people in the parking lot, according to police.
Officers told Channel 9 that those three people were rushed to a local hospital, two of them with critical injuries.
