Police: Armed robbers took pizza and cash

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police need your help identifying two men they said were involved in an armed robbery at the Little Caesars Pizza on Carolina Beach Road July 5.

Witnesses told police the suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. After taking cash, witnesses said the robber grabbed a pizza and ran from the restaurant. He met with a second suspect outside the restaurant, and both men ran.

Police describe the robber as a black male, about 5’7” with a stocky build, and tied back, long dread-locked hair. He wore a red bandanna over his face. The second was a black male, about 6’1” with a thin build. He was wearing a shirt that said “Ford” on the front and has the number “03” on the back.
