Police asking for help finding missing Whiteville teenager

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Whiteville Police are asking for help finding a missing teenager.

They say Cassie Marie Garrett, 16, was last seen walking from her home on Burkhead Street to Whiteville High School around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say Cassie never returned home from school.

She is described as having brown hair, blue eyes, is 5’5″ and 140 lbs. Police say she was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, khaki pants, royal blue and white tennis shoes.
