Police continue investigating Thursday shooting near Creekwood

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say they are still investigating a shooting yesterday morning near Creekwood.

WPD spokeswoman Linda Rawley says a man was riding his bike on Spaulding Dr. near Stewart Cir. around 11 a.m. when a black Chevrolet Impala with three people inside drove up and someone started shooting from the car. The shooting happened just north of Creekwood.

Rawley says the man fell off his bike and ran from the area. He was not hurt.
