Police investigating after 20 mailboxes damaged in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating after multiple mailboxes were found damaged over the weekend.

Officers responded to the 400 block of South Kerr Avenue in reference to property damage around 7 a.m. Sunday. When police arrived, they found about 20 mailboxes had been damaged, spanning from the 400 block to the 800 block of South Kerr.

Damage to the mailboxes range from being dented to being ripped off the posts.
