Wilmington Police investigating early-morning stabbing

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are investigating after a stabbing early Tuesday morning, according to dispatchers.

New Hanover County Dispatch said the call came in just after 7 a.m. in the 100 block of South 9th Street.

A Wilmington Police spokeswoman said it a domestic dispute left one of two men involved with multiple lacerations.

The man who was hurt was taken to the hospital by EMS, according to police. Another person was interviewed, but no charges have been filed yet.
