Police investigating Scotchman armed robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Police said it happened before 1:30 a.m. at the Scotchman in the 600-block of Eastwood Road. They said a white male about 30 years old wearing a green jacket and green beanie came into the store, showed a knife and demanded money.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to contact WPD.
