Police looking for man after morning robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a Wilmington convenience store early Monday morning.

Wilmington Police say it happened around 7:30 a.m. at the North Side Food Market in the 600 block of Red Cross Street. They say there were no initial reports of injuries.

Officers say the suspect took money from the cash register before getting away.

Wilmington Police are investigating the crime.
