Police looking for ‘Walgreens whisper robber’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for a man who robbed a drug store yesterday.

A WPD spokeswoman said the incident happened at the Walgreens on Oleander Drive around 1:30 p.m. yesterday. She said a while male came in, whispered to the clerk to give her the money in the drawer and the left the store. A weapon was never displayed, police said.

The robber left in an older silver Honda Accord. Anyone with information is asked to call WPD.
