Police: Man breaks in, steals prescription drugs from King’s Pharmacy

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are searching for a suspect they say stole prescription drugs from inside a Wilmington pharmacy after breaking in through a window at the store Sunday night.

Wilmington Police say it happened just after 6 p.m. at King’s Pharmacy at 2231 S. College Road. That’s where officers say an alarm activation alerted them to the break-in after the suspect shattered a window to get in.

Police say surveillance video shows a man in a dark, hooded sweatshirt on a bicycle leaving the area after the crime. They say the man stole some prescriptions from the pharmacy, and then took off on his bicycle heading towards Long Leaf Hills Drive.
