Police: Man dead after shooting in Wilmington Friday night

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say a man is dead after a shooting Friday night in Wilmington.

Around 7:55 p.m., Wilmington Police spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay says someone called 911 to report the crime in the 200 block of N. 13th Street.

That’s where she says a man was found dead. Lindsay says officers don’t have a positive ID yet for the victim.

There’s also no suspect information.

Wilmington Police are still investigating.
