Police: Man looking for narcotics swings razor at victims
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say they arrested a man who was asking around about where to find drugs when he pulled a razor on several people before running from officers.
Wilmington Police say it happened around 8:15 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North 4th Street. They say the man, identified as Brandon Harrington, began asking people where he could find narcotics when he started swinging his fists at multiple victims.
That’s when police say Harrington pulled out a razor-like knife, also swinging that at the victims, before they took off running to call for help. Police say they caught Harrington near 4th and Hanover streets after he tried to run from officers.
Police say Harrington is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
