Police: Man wanted for kidnapping, larceny captured

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) – Boiling Spring Lakes police say a man wanted for kidnapping and larceny who was also wanted in Georgia has been arrested.

Police say Joshua Brandon Miller, 26, was arrested early this morning by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Boiling Spring Lakes police say they found a stolen car last week in a vacant lot on Filmore Road.  The car had been reported stolen from Richmond Hill, Georgia last week. The suspect has been identified by Georgia Authorities as Joshua Brandon Miller.

Miller was also wanted by the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department for stealing a car with a child inside it at the Olde Brunswick Store, located at the intersection of Fifty Lakes Drive and Highway 133, on August 4.

Police said Miller is also facing additional charges for larceny of a motor vehicle that occurred on Cherokee Road in Boiling Spring Lakes two days ago on the 08/18.
