Police need your help identifying armed robbery suspect

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Navassa Police Department needs your help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

The robbery happened Tuesday night, Feb. 10, around 8:30 at the Stop and Save Mini Mart on Old Mill Road.

Investigators said the armed robber walked into the store, pointed his gun at the cashier and demanded money.

Police said the cashier gave him money and he ran off.

Investigators said the suspect is a black, heavy set, man and was wearing a north-face jacket or pullover and khakis with a white bandana over his face.
