Police searching for Audi after hit & run at Wilmington hotel

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are searching for the driver of an Audi they say hit the side of a Wilmington hotel and then drove off.

Dispatchers say around 8:40 p.m. Thursday, someone staying at the Value Place Hotel on Carolina Beach Road called to report the crash.

They say no one was hurt, but that the blue Audi left a hole in the side of the building. Dispatchers say WPD took a report at the scene.

At last check, Wilmington Police were still on the lookout for the car.
