Police searching for man who robbed pharmacy at gunpoint
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Wilmington pharmacy at gunpoint, getting away with an unknown amount of medication yesterday afternoon.
Wilmington Police say it happened just before 2:30 p.m. at the Rite Aid at 4502 Shipyard Boulevard. That’s where officers say the man walked into the building and pulled out a gun at the pharmacy counter at the back of the store, demanding medication.
Police say the man then took off with an unknown amount of medication. Officers say the man is described as a white male in his 40s with short hair, standing at about 6 feet tall. They say he was wearing a baseball cap and jacket at the time of the crime.
