Police: Two injured in home invasion

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an early evening home invasion.

According to a news release, the incident happened around 8:00 P.M. Monday at 211 Queen Street. Police responded after a 911 call was made.

Two people were injured during the crime. They have both been taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. There is no word yet on their condition.

The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call police.
