Police investigating suspicious death

WILMINGTON — Police are investigating what they’re calling a suspicious death at Crosswinds apartment complex.

That’s off Saint Andrews Drive.

Police say a Hispanic woman in her twenties was shot in the head and that a Hispanic man came out of the apartment covered in blood saying his wife or girlfriend had shot herself.

So far investigators will only say that they questioned the man who came out of the apartment.

But so far they have not arrested anyone.
