Police make arrest in Carolina Beach arson

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach Police have made an arrest in an arson at a home last month. Ron Christopher Gist, 33, is charged with the fire at 910 Carolina Beach Avenue North on June 29.

After the fire, the victims told us they thought Gist, who works at a convenience store next door, set the fire after an argument. Gist, though, told us he did not do it.
