Poll: Carolinas residents unhappy with war
CHARLOTTE (AP) — People in the Carolinas still don't like President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq.
The results show 49 percent disapprove of Bush's handling of the war. Twenty-seven percent approved. That's similar to the survey last year, where 49 percent disapproved and 33 percent approved.
The new survey by The Charlotte Observer and WCNC-TV in Charlotte questioned more than 1,000 residents of North and South Carolina last month.
