Portion of Oleander Drive reopened to traffic following structure fire
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Part of Oleander Drive was shut down to traffic Thursday evening.
A Wilmington Fire Department spokeswoman said Oleander Drive was shut down between Country Club Road and Mimosa Place as crews responded to a structure fire.
The call came in at 5:45 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
WFD said most of the fire was contained to the exterior wall of the home, and there was minor smoke to the interior.
A Wilmington Police spokesman said the road had reopened as of 7:12 p.m.
