Portion of River Road closed after one-car crash

WINNABOW, NC (WWAY)–  According to Brunswick County dispatchers Tuesday night emergency crews were called to a one-car crash. Dispatchers said the crash happened near Mellaney Lane off of River Road in Winnabow.

The person in the car was taken to the hospital.

Dispatchers said the section of road was closed as crews cleared the scene.
