Post 10 moves onto state tourney

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Post 10 defeated Hope Mills to claim the Area 2 title in American Legion baseball on Monday night at Buck Hardee Field. Post 10 will play Hickory on Friday in the first round of the state championship tournament. They’ll play at 4:30 on Friday in Morehead City. Cherryville will play Morehead City at 7:30 on Friday. The winner of the eight team tournament will advance to the legion southeast championship in August.
