Post 10 wins state baseball title

GRANITE FALLS,NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Post 10 captured the state championship for American Legion baseball on Sunday with an 11-1 win over Cherryville.

Wilmington Post 10 joins Gastonia Post 23 as nine-time state champion. Post 10 now has state titles in 1956, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1970, 1980, 1994, 1995 and 2012. Scott Sandlin is the Post 10 head coach.
