Power outage closes Wilmington Walmart for hours

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Walmart Supercenter on Sigmon Road in Wilmington was forced to close its doors after a power outage around 5 a.m.

Walmart employees were standing at the doors and at various spots around the parking lot to tell customers that they were forced to close due to the outage.

Power was finally restored around 1 p.m.
