Power restored after 1,500 outages reported

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Power has been restored to about 1,500 residents in Wilmington.

New Hanover County dispatch says an electric feeder went out around 8:30 tonight, causing the outages in the area of Shipyard Blvd. and South College Rd.

Progress Energy restored power around 10:40.
