Prayer vigil held to honor gun violence victims

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Victims and families impacted by violence in the Wilmington area came together Monday evening.

For four years now they’ve gathered to pray for lives lost to gun violence in Wilmington.
Wilmington Faiths Against Gun Violence welcomed the community to come pray together during a night of remembrance.

Organizers say a new face steps up to share their story of how they lost a loved one to a shooting of some kind each year.

We will have more from the prayer vigil tonight on WWAY News at 11.
