Pre-schoolers make cards for earthquake victim
Some pre-schoolers made get well cards for the Haitian boy recovering from surgery in Wilmington.
With markers and stickers, kids at AAI Pharma Services Learning Center all wanted the chance to participate in the card making. They used creativity and a lot of love in hopes of making Carlens Delfils feel better.
“We basically just wanted to help out wherever we were needed,” said Lakecia Saunders, who started the project. “I hope he feels better.”
Parents and teachers pitched in to raise money to buy Delfils games for his Nintendo DS that an anonymous donor dropped off at the hospital.
