Property owners near Chemours plant files GenX lawsuit

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Another lawsuit against Chemours.

This time it’s coming from property owners who live near the Fayetteville Works Facility.

Baron & Budd Law Firm filed the suit alleging that Chemours and Dupont are responsible for this contamination.

The suit also states the GenX contamination has affected the quality and safety of the water drawn from private wells and created a probable risk to the health of individuals who live near the plant.
