Publix to open in Surf City later this month

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Big news for Surf City residents! We now know when the Publix supermarket will open in the area.

The new store is located at 2765 NC HWY 210 E in Hampstead.

A grand opening will be held late this month on Saturday, May 26 at 7 a.m.

This will be the fifth Publix to come to the Cape Fear.
