Put on the Glitz at 2018 Wilmington Fur Ball

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The 13th Annual Wilmington Fur Ball kicks off Saturday night to raise money for four legged friends throughout the Cape Fear.

Started in 2005, the Fur ball has raised nearly a quarter million dollars over it’s 13 year history.  The money is distributed to animal rescue groups and no-kill organizations in Brunswick, Pender and New Hanover counties.

This year the theme is ‘Puttin’ On The Glitz’ and promises a fun-filled night of black tie, red carpet glamour.  Bibis Ellison will headline the event which will also feature lavish hor d’oeuvres, wine, beer and champagne.  There will also be an exciting live auction, a silent auction and a Buy-It-Now Store.

The event is Saturday at The Terraces on Sir Tyler in Wilmington.
