Questions still surround Osprey
Investigators and mechanics are still looking over the Marine Corps Osprey that put down in Pender County late last night.
The tilt rotor plane was on a training flight out of New River Air Station when the pilot made a precautionary landing in the Holly Shelter game land.
None of the four crew were hurt, although a small brush fire did break out.
Once the damage is fully assessed, officials will decide how to get the Osprey back to New River.
