Raquel Adams found guilty of double murder at home of Tru Colors COO

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A jury reached a verdict Tuesday afternoon, in the murder trial of Raquel Adams.
Adams was one of three people charged in the deaths of Koredreese Tyson, 29, and Bri-yanna Williams, 21.
They were shot in July 2021 inside the home of George Taylor III, who was the COO of Tru Colors Brewing.
Adams was charged with two counts of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit first degree murder, attempted murder, robbery with a firearm and first degree burglary.
Lawyers presented their closing arguments Tuesday.
The District Attorney’s Office said the jury found Adams guilty on all charges, and Adams was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in prison.
Dyrell Green and Omonte Bell are also charged with two counts of first degree murder, among other charges.
Their trials are pending.
