Rediscover the joys of learning at BCC Back to the Classroom

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick Community College Foundation is hosting the people of the Cape Fear at it’s annual Back to the Classroom.

It is a day for the community to see the school and find out about opportunities.  You can sample courses and interact with Brunswick Community College Faculty, staff and students.

The free event offers four classes and participants can take two.  They are:  Canine Angels: Therapy and Service Dogs for Increased Confidence and Independence; The Rise and Fall of Rock and Roll; Emergency Management:  A Global Perspective on Local Response; and Tides & Tales:  An Abridged History of Shallotte and Coastal Hurricane Patterns.

Each class promises an immersive and interesting afternoon.

The event begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Bolivia campus and ends with a closing reception.
