Reel in a good time at StriperFest this weekend!

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — You can support efforts to help the Cape Fear River and have a good time in downtown Wilmington this weekend at the 8th Annual StriperFest.

The event brings together anglers, analysts and scientists for a 2 day event that is fun and educationals for the whole family.

Things kick off Friday night with a banquet and auction followed by a full day on Saturday.

Watch anglers take off at 8:3o a.m. for the annual Tag and Release Striper Bass Fishing Tournament followed by a day of educational activities for kids and adults.

The event is all to support a great cause — the Cape Fear River.
