Reward money pooled together for information on Corey Vann
Earlier this week we reported that the family of Corey Vann, the man found dead along river road in January, is offering $2,500 in reward money for information about the murder.
The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office today announced that the money will be added to $2,500 it had posted through its Crime Stoppers.
That makes a total of $5,000 for anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction in Vann’s murder.
“We don’t discount any information we get, anything at all we follow up on, so whatever anybody’s got that they think is useful to us, we want it,” said Captain Donald Taft.
Detectives have interviewed about 80 people and have taken out seven search warrants in connection to Vann’s murder.
They do have a person of interest in mind.
If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 800-531-9845.
