Ribbon cutting celebrates Belville’s new Town Hall

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Belville now has a new addition after the official grand opening of their town hall.

An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held Saturday afternoon to show the community of Belville their brand new town hall.

This is the first structure the town has owned since 1977.

The total cost of the project was $1.7 million and Belville Mayor Mike Allen said they stayed under budget and finished the construction on time.

“We’re most thankful people of Belville, our citizens who have support us that we were able to give them this town hall which we hope they’ll be proud of and the growth that were having here in our region and the area and the pace we’re growing. This is what I kinda call the welcome to the new dawn,” Mayor Allen said.

The Mayor also said he is excited to see the town continue to grow and wants the community to be proud of their new addition.
