Road construction happening near Lake Waccamaw

COLUMBUS COUNTY (WWAY) — The State Transportation Department began converting the intersection at Chauncey Town Road and US 74/76 into an interchange with on-off ramps that will carry the road over the highway. This interchange and the conversion of Old Lake Road into a bridge over US 74/76 are part of a project scheduled to be finished in 2025.
