Road open after log truck overturns

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A part of a Brunswick County road is now open after it was closed for nearly two hour this morning.

According to Brunswick County Dispatch a log truck overturned around 5:47 a.m. on Longwood Road.

While the Grissettown/Longwood Fire Department worked to clear the scene, part of the road from Old Shallotte Road to 17 was closed.

Dispatchers say as far as they know, no one was hurt.

No word on what caused the accident.
