Road closed for repairs this weekend

Repairs to the Northeast Interceptor sewer line will close part of a busy road in the Port City this weekend.

The portion of 17th Street between Independence Boulevard near the Cameron Art Museum will be closed starting at 7:00 tonight.

The city says it will open no later than 6:00 Monday morning.

The closure is needed to replace about 1,300 feet of pipe.
