Roman Gabriel, III featured speaker at Brunswick Community College

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) —  Roman Gabriel, III will be the guest speaker at The Foundation of Brunswick Community College’s annual Community Luncheon Wednesday.

Gabriel will talk about how community college impacted his life and share stories of other athletes who have traveled similar paths and the obstacles they have overcome. Afterwards, there will be a session for BCC’s student athletes.

Gabriel is the son of former New Hanover High School and NCSU quarterback and LA Rams and Philadelphia Eagles star Roman Gabriel.  He is a community college graduate of College of the Desert in California, and has a bachelors degree in Communications, Television Broadcasting from the University of New Mexico. He’s a former college and pro football quarterback who went on to coach at Arizona Western Junior College. He has spent the last 25 years as a Radio/ TV host, and award winning producer, and filmmaker. His current program  ‘Sold Out Sports‘ is nationally broadcast on Saturday nights.

The event is at noon Wednesday, March 15 at the Dinah E. gore Fitness Center at Brunswick Community College.
