Rouzer wins second term in US House

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Rep. David Rouzer is heading back to Washington for a second term.

The Associated Press has called Rouzer the winner of his 7th District US House of Representatives race against Wilmington attorney J. Wesley Casteen.

Casteen, a Democrat, was the Libertarian candidate for the House seat when he lost to Rouzer two years ago.

Rouzer, a former state senator from Johnston County, wins his second two-year term to represent a district that stretches from outside of Raleigh to the southeastern NC coast.
