Salvation Army Angel Tree behind on donors, deadline is Friday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program designed to help kids in need this holiday season is a bit behind on their goal.

This year’s angel tree program is aiming to help about three thousand kids and they need your help.

You can stop by the tree at Independence Mall, choose an ornament off of the tree, and fulfill the wishes of a child in our area.

They’re also accepting donations of new clothing for kids if you can’t pick an angel.

The deadline is this Friday.
