Sampson County’s Southern Smoke BBQ vying for Best Pulled Pork Sandwich

GARLAND, NC (WWAY) — A nearby restaurant is a nominee on USA Today’s latest 10Best poll.

The pork bbq sandwich from Southern Smoke BBQ in Sampson county is one of 20 nominees for Best BBQ Pork Sandwich in North Carolina.

The poll notes that the oak wood coals the pork is cooked over, as well as the two sauces offered to dress it, go a long way towards making a memorable sandwich.
